It is reported that 85% of all home buyers now use the Internet in their home-search process (source: 2006 National Association of Realtors® Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers).  Because of this and the expected continued growth for online home searches, we feel it's very important to maximize your property listing's online exposure.  These same statistics show that the breakdown of how buyers found homes on the internet are:  Realtor.com (82%), Local Realty Firm Website (76%), Local REALTOR® Association Website (50%), Franchiser's Website (30%), Broker IDX/Broker Reciprocity Website (29%).  Of those who purchased a home they viewed on the internet, the breakdown of how they purchased follows:  Agent/Broker (81%), Direct from Builder (10%), Direct from previous owner whom buyer didn't know (5 %).  I thought you might enjoy seeing some of the statistics.  We try to use these statistics to determine how we’re going to advertise on the internet.  Here are just some of the websites that we have placed your property listing and photos:

Realtor Exposure:

  • Coldwell Banker Coastal Rivers Realty - Our office is located at 1550 W. 5th Street, Suite 200.
  • Multiple Listing Service (MLS) - Your property with photos will be listed in the Washington/Beaufort County MLS.
  • Promotional Flyers of your home.
  • Broker Caravan - Your property will be featured on the local broker caravan where all of the agents in our office will preview your home and give their feedback.
  • Broker´s Open House - Luncheon for local Relators to showcase your property.

General Marketing:

  • Immediate Yard Signage - Provides contact information, flyers, and directs potential buyers to our website for more information.
  • Follow up with salespeople who have shown your home - Obtain feedback and communicate this to you
  • Hold Open House(s) (with your permission)
